ಮನಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾಡು

Though I find it difficult to write a complete post in kannada, I don't know why, but everytime I think of a title the first thing that comes to my mind is a title in kannada and an appropriate one also.

ಮನಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾಡು this has been my motto for this holidays. Since this holidays began I am doing whatever I feel like and under no force. Completing engineering from RV and getting placed in mindtree(joining date Dec 6) was one bet that really paid off. Now finally the man sitting on my shoulders has climbed down, which makes me feel like free flying bird.

ಹಾಗೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ

There are so many things happening in my life from last 2 to 3 months. But I have never felt like sharing them with you. May be the feeling that somebody else is reading this or that this may be published few years later( ha ha ha.. though both are just feelings with no justifications) is the reason.

In last three months I completed my engineering(..finally..), finished my project with hardly putting 50 effective manhours(whole team)- to the envy of my friends, scored 75% in final semester - a googly to my classmates, I have spent 50 days of my vacations in bangalore with less than 2 days in chintamani,I met up my schoolmates which I thought was next to impossible, I completed bhagavadgiita, I spent time on learning sanskrit and made a audio on sanskrit, I learnt to decode morse code at low and medium speeds, I was part of a team that bulilt two websites wordlistsonline.com and theinvestormanul.com and I went through one of the darkest phases of my life(i will post about it some time later but it was the best learning period of life) and so on.....

And finaly since I could not think of a title for this discourse ಹ ಹ್ಹ ಹಾ i named this post ಹಾಗೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ.

The best and the worst

The best thing when you feel the "you are going through the worst" is that there can be nothing worse than this and hence it should only get better.

And the worst thing when you feel that "you are going through the worst" is that it is only a feeling and it can get much more worse than this.

Valentines day

Today is valentines day and I dont want to write on my experience of feeling lonely. So I will keep that experience which I was suppose to write, for some other day.

I have been on a certain type of a high in the last few days. I thought that whatever i write in this book(before starting my blog I used to write my diary in a book. This was first written in a book and then transferred to my blog) will be between you and me. But now I feel that I should share it with others. Shouting at the sky is good fun but it would be more interesting if we knew that there is someone out there listening to us. Even I feel the same. Writing to no man but you is good. It lightens your heart. But knowing that someone is out there reading what you write makes writing more interesting.

25th marriage anniversary of parents

This is on event I have been eagerly waiting since ling. This thought resurfaced when I visited a saree weaving industry. I thought I could gift one such custom made saree to her on her anniversary. Then my thoughts started flowing like light clouds hovering over a valley. My body was seated on a moving bike, but my head was flying high.

Mom's Birthday

When matter, energy or data is translated into some other form it is always accompanied with a loss.
  1. Energy -- Electric to motor == Heat is the loss
  2. Data -- Analog to digital == Precission is the loss
  3. Matter -- Rock to stones == Small particles that fallout is the loss
And the same in case of language. Translation can never be perfect even if it is by the same author. But it is good fun to find the appropriate word for same thought in different languages.

I blog therefore i am

To do 'something' continuously and consistently is a herculean task, however simple that 'something' may be.

And diary is one which for sure test your mettle. I for that matter have made 'n' number of unsuccessful attempts. Each time I failed I came back with more vigor and determination but only to fail more miserably.

The world and I

The world existed before I was born.
The world will exist even after I die.

So I am just a small changing entity in a large constant ---- called WORLD.

So when I am just a small entity in large constant world, is there any importance attached to what I am going to scribble in this blog. The answer is a huge, definite NO. But that is not what matters. What matters is how important it is to me and how much importance I allot for it. Remember this. No poem, no short story, no novel, no writing or nothing related to art was done to change the world. It was that they wanted their feelings and thoughts to be shared and they found no better medium than words. So now here goes my attempt to put across ( scribble away) my feelings, thoughts and daily experiences and the medium I found was none other than blogs. Thanks to electronic medium for making our lives so simple and hence my blog was named eScribblings.

My first teacher was my best teacher

Wish you happy teachers day !!!!!!

Here I am wishing the teachers day to all the teachers who made a difference in my life. And the first teacher that comes to my mind is of course my mom, an amazing home maker and a even more amazing teacher by nature. We live in a joint family and every evening there used to be a virtual tuition at my home with all the kids of the family on one side and our teacher, my mom on the other side. She was just like a fairy with a magic wand in her hands literally transforming the lives of her lovely kids. She knew how to make the kids learn using their instinct. But more than that she knew how to convert the learning into play for the kids.

Murphys law

Let me first tell you what Murphy's law is all about. It is a law that comes as a solace to the feckless and an irritation to the people who are well planned and keep all their things in order.

The most widely used definition of Moore's law is "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong". Let me give you a collection of some interesting variations of this law.
