Googol : The hundredth POWER OF TEN

Larry got the spelling of googol wrong and a multibillion$ worth company by the name google was born. So did our people function team and our team googool got a second prize in the collage.

The collage competition was held as a part of tenth anniversary celebratin at Mindtree, the companhy I work for. The theme given was "POWER OF TEN". We were given 90 minutes for the completing our collage. At the last we were given 3 minutes to explain what we were trying to represent through our collage. Here is a snap of our collage and the explanion we gave.

ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳ ಬಾಲೆ

ಅದು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತ. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ. ಕಲ್ಲು, ಮಣ್ಣು, ಭೂಮಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಸೌರ ವ್ಯೂಹ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೊಂಡವು. ತನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನೇ ಖುಷಿ ಪಟ್ಟ. ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ಬೀಗಿದ. ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲೂಒಂದು ಲೂಒಪ ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣುತಿತ್ತು. ಎಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಜಡ, ಜದವಲ್ಲವೀ? ಇದನ್ನರಿತ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಜೀವದ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ತರಲುನಿಸ್ಚಿಯಿಸಿದ. ಅಂದಿಗೆ ಶುರುವಾಯಿತು ಭುವಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಜೀವ. ವೈರಸ್, ಬ್ಯಾಕ್ಟೀರಿಯ, ಕ್ರಿಮಿ ಕೀಟ, ಜಲರಾಷಿಗಳು ಒಂದೊಂದಾಗಿಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೊಂಡವು. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೋ ಕೊರತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಕೊರಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು, ಕಾರಣ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಇದೆ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲ ಜಗತ್ತು ಕೆಲವು ಯುಗಗಳವರೆಗೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

How palmistry began? (Imaginary)

Long long ago but not so long ago there were two close friends. They studied together under the guidance of a Guru. The guru was a wise old man. He was a man of few words. But he was highly respected in the community for the value of his words. In the course of time both the friends completed their education. They had learnt various sciences,history, arts, economics so on and so forth. But still they both had a question in their mind which was bothering them.They were waiting for the right time to get an answer to this question from their Guru.

Though I find it difficult to write a complete post in kannada, I don't know why, but everytime I think of a title the first thing that comes to my mind is a title in kannada and an appropriate one also.

ಮನಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾಡು this has been my motto for this holidays. Since this holidays began I am doing whatever I feel like and under no force. Completing engineering from RV and getting placed in mindtree(joining date Dec 6) was one bet that really paid off. Now finally the man sitting on my shoulders has climbed down, which makes me feel like free flying bird.
